On Monday, April 2, the girls soccer team kicked off their season playing Bondurant-Farrar at home. The Cubs won, 3-2 with JJ Williamson, Maddie Stevens and Addi Vorm all scoring one goal each. Hannah Thomsen had one assist and Amanda Fortmann had two.

Coach Davis was overall pleased with the team effort and each player individually in this game. He put in 17 different players throughout the game, which let players gain some experience and learn about their role in the team.

“We moved people around, filled in where it was needed and did a good job considering the conditions. This was a great start to the season, to overcome a ranked opponent in the cold conditions,” said Coach Davis
