Nevada JV2 volleyball had a hard battle against South Hamilton on Tuesday, September 29. Nevada lost 2 out of 3 sets.

Coach Zach Lillquist said that they were down both outside hitters. Gabby Joe and Ariana Chappel were injured. So Maycie Mailey and Treva Sawyer, who don’t play outside hitters, had to step up and fill the role.

Kennedy Long and Brooke Robison led the team in kills.

On October 1, the team traveled to Saydel.

“We played much better last night against Saydel,” said Coach Lillquist. “We didn’t drop a set. Ariana was back with some good shots on the outside. Brooklyn Estes had a run of 13 serves in a row. Cinamon Hazlitt had some nice sets, while Kira Brockman and August Martinez had some great passes in the back row for us.”
