The 8th grade football team beat the Mustangs 38-8 on their home turf in Monroe on October 5th.

Anthony Eaton led the Cub offense as the starting quarterback.

“He is able to run the ball and keeps moving his feet for extra yards after contact is made. He also throws a good ball to receivers as well. When he hands the ball off, Eaton does a great job blocking” said Coach Seth Meyne.

Jackson Burlage led the Cub defense with multiple tackles for loss against PCM.

“He is always flying to the ball carrier, keeping his head on a swivel and loves to blitz from a linebacker standpoint” said Coach Seth Meyne.

The 8th grade team finished their season with a come from behind win over West  Marshall at Nevada High School on Thursday, October 15.
