The 4×200 team (Brendan Sellberg, Jakob Strottman, Rodrigo Perez, and Joven Nelson) are State Champions with a time season best of 1:29.66! Malachi also placed 10th in the mile with a PR of 4:30.66.

Coach John Pelzer said, “It was an outstanding season!” The Cubs had many athletes qualify for the Drake Relays. The Boys track team also won the Newton invitational in April.

The Cubs are also looking forward to next year!

Coach said, “I am always sad to see the seniors go (but it’s the nature of this business), but I am hopeful about the future!  We return many quality athletes for next season, and I believe we can make another run at a state title next year!”
