The 7th grade girls softball team played PCM on Thursday, May 31. The Cubs fought hard, but ended up losing 0-15.

Coach Chris Hinson said, “Even though the score doesn’t show it, I thought we did a lot of really nice things in our first game.  The girls definitely gave their best effort, stayed positive, and learned from the experience.”

Avery Hinson pitched three innings, giving up six runs, and having five strikeouts. Ali Stubben was the other pitcher. She gave up nine runs, and struck two batters out.

Kira Roupp had the only hit of the night, but unfortunately did not make it home to score for the Cubs.
