On September 13th, the middle school boys and girls cross country teams traveled to Pleasantville. The Cubs ended the meet with seven girls and seven boys in the top thirteen. Tori Meineke placed first overall in the girls meet, while Owen Freeman placed first for the boys meet.
“It was a short course, only 1.6 instead of 2 miles, but such a good night,” said Coach Sarah Gilchrist.
Some top finishers for the girls meet were Alison Kruzich, Cece Scarff, Lynze Geerdes, Natalie Barber, Sarah Mehari, and Bridget Cahill, who all placed in the top thirteen of the meet.
Some top finishers for the boys meet were Zach Deveno, Rhett Harter, Carter Holland, Aiden Freeman, Jackson Reid, Rown Steele, and Kyle Kingsbury, who all placed in the top thirteen of their meet.
