On Thursday, September 6th, the freshman girls volleyball team hosted the Roland-Story Norsemen.

The Cubs started out strong in their first game, winning 25-11. Maddie Dunham had some key blocks for the Cubs, giving them the momentum leading then into the second game. It was a close second game, but the Cubs fell 22-25. In the third game, the Cubs couldn’t convert, but fought to a close, 15-9 game.

“While we were disappointed with the end results, it was a great game to be able see what we need to work on. We are still learning on working together as a team,” said Coach Abby Hansen.
