The Freshman Cubs moved to an outstanding 7-0 football record with a 26-0 win over West Marshall on Friday, October 5.  The Cubs’ defense was the key again to the win.  They caused and recovered at least five fumbles.

“These turnovers gave them a short field and led to some easy scores,” said Coach Corey Barloon.

Coach Barloon also said, “This week will be a test playing a very good Union team.  We will work on playing united and battling through adversity.”

The Cubs’ next game is Friday, October 12 against Union at Union LaPorte. The Freshman Cubs hope to walk away with another win, keeping the undefeated streak alive.
