On Friday, October 19, the Nevada varsity football team headed to Roland Story for their final game. They lost 34-49 to the Norsemen, but still played a good game.

“We did a lot of things well in the game,” said Coach Andy Kleeman. “Unfortunately, we had too many turnovers that affected the outcome.”

“We had a good night statistically on the offensive side of the ball.  We had 542 yards of offense with 391 yards passing which is a school record.  The players did a nice job of moving the ball throughout the game. We made some big plays defensively but weren’t able to get needed stops in the second half.  Overall, the players gave great effort and played hard the entire game.”

The Cubs ended their season 3-6.
