11.26 Varsity Girls Basketball vs Grundy Center

On November 26th, Nevada played Grundy Center at home, but were unable to pull off the win. They lost, 29-51.

By the end of the first half, the Cubs were down by 21 points. At the beginning of the second half, Nevada was playing much better, and they were able to get a few more points on the board.

During the third quarter Nevada was doing their best to bounce back and managed to make 12 more points but started slipping during the 4th quarter, only making eight points.

Coach Jordan Bentley said, ”We had a great crowd, and I looked forward to us building for our next game.”

Junior Kacie Rewerts and sophomore Addi Vorm both led the team with eight points, and sophomore Sydney Mosinski scored six, Others who scored were sophomore Aubrey Gibson with four and senior Riley Mailey with three. Addi Vorm went two for two for three-pointers and leads the teams in that category for the season.

The girls host PCM at home on Friday, December 14.
