The Nevada boys varsity golf team had their first meet against North Polk and Ogden at at the Tournament Club of Iowa in Polk City on April 2. They hit very well, and they had very good individual places.
Tyler Sansgaard was the meet medalist. He shot a round of 35. Harold Dobernecker was the second place golfer, scoring 39. The team placed first at the meet scoring a total of 36 points, followed by North Polk and then Ogden.
The boys have their next meet on Friday at Bos Landen in Pella.
