On Monday, April 8, the seventh and eighth grade boys participated in the “Little Hawk Relays” meet in South Hamilton. Nevada placed fourth overall.
Rowan Steele got second in high jump, getting a 5-00.0. Rowan also got second in the 800 meter run getting a time of 2:35.
“For most of the team, it was their first meet. We were really happy with the effort and attitude of the kids. We believe this group has a lot of potential moving forward,” said Coach Andrew Kleeman.
