The varsity boys soccer team beat ADM, 4-3, on Monday, April 29th, at home.

“I thought this was the best 80 minutes of soccer our team has played this season,” said Coach Todd Sampson. “It wasn’t perfect, but we played quality soccer for the entire game, and I really felt our midfielders and forwards got in a rhythm we hadn’t been able to find until Monday.”

Scorers were Jose Beunrrostro with two and Devin See with one in regulation. In the shootout, goalie Kody Kruschwitz blocked two shots and the other goal was missed by ADM. Anthony Ellis, Henry Nelson, Beunrrostro each made their shots in the shootout to secure the Cubs’ win.

“layers deserving recognition were Taylor Maiefski, Ayden Rhodes, and Brayden Bottorf who all played at a level we haven’t seen them play at and I think that made a huge difference,” said Coach Sampson.
