On Monday November 20, the Nevada 9th grade girls basketball team played South Hamilton at South Hamilton High School. The results of the game was not in the Cubs’ favor but there were many positive things to look at. The score was 28-30, South Hamilton.
Leading scorers for the cubs were Gabrielle Sampson with 11 points, Taylor Conrad with 8 points, and Sydney Mosinski with 6 points. They had good ball pressure and were able to force some turnovers. With it being early in the season there is always room for improvement. Coach Uthe feels that they need to work on free throws. Coach Uthe was pleased with the effort of the team and believed they were very competitive.
