On Friday, January 19, the JV girls basketball team played a close game against North Polk at home. The Cubs played well and won the game 27-24.
Amelea Jones knocked down three of her four free throws to take the lead and win the game in the last minute.
The leading scorer, sophomore Meredith Harter, had an outstanding game with 10 points, followed by junior Rylee Stevenson’s six.
