On Monday, January 29, the 8th grade boys played against South Hamilton. They won 50-34.
The Cubs played tenacious defense and drove to the rim, which lead to their victory. They shared the ball and always made the extra pass to get the easy non-contested shot.
James Edwards played a great game scoring 17 points. Connor Schnettgoecke also had a good game finishing with nine points.
One thing they need to work on is playing help defense with their feet and not their hands, and some players had less playing time due to foul trouble.
