4.30 Middle School Girls Track at South Hamilton

On April 30th, the seventh and eighth grade girls track team had a meet at South Hamilton. The Cubs placed fourth overall. “The girls ran well despite the windy conditions,” said Coach Lori Stephenson.

Tessa Borwick won the 100 meter hurdles, and the 4×8 team of Allison Kruzich, Stephanie Lopez, Tessa Borwick and Elie Tuhn set a new team PR (personal best/personal record) and won by over 15 seconds with a time of 11:46.00.

Payton Hanson got first in discus with PR throw of 77’8”. Chastity Scott jumped 4’2” in the high jump and set a new PR. Elie Tuhn got second in the 1500 meter run with a time of 5:55.50. The 4×100 team of Allison Kruzich, Stephanie Lopez, Tessa Borwick, and Maddie Dunham got third with a time of 1:00.99.
