1.05 JV Wrestling @ Ogden

The JV wrestling team competed at Ogden on Saturday, January 5. The team competed against Ogden, Roland-Story, Greene County, Gilbert, Woodward-Granger, Fort Dodge, West Central Valley, Panorama, Carroll Community, Webster City, Ballard, I-35, Pleasantville, Humboldt, Southeast Valley, Kuemper Catholic, ADM, Boone, Southern Cal, Van Meter, and Clarion-Goldfield.

Zach Stinn and Carlos Buenrrostro both placed first in their weight classes. Buenrrostro also gathered a team high of 20 points. Stinn won by decision, major decision 18-4, and lost by fall in his other.

Luis Lopez placed second in his weight class and earned 12 team points. He won by decision and fall, and lost by decision 2-0. Camdan Vincent placed second in his weight class as well. He lost by fall and won by fall in 20 seconds.

The team was very pleased with the outcome of the day and is excited to compete in their next tournament that takes place at Greene County on January 12.
