The Nevada girls JV soccer team won their game against Prairie City Monroe on Tuesday, April 9th. The girls played a strong half, but because PCM didn’t have enough numbers, they couldn’t play a full game.

Alex Arnaud received a pass and, with a little hesitation move, was able to get past a defender and put the ball in the back of the net to open the scoring.  A short time later Katelyn Khounsourath found the goal off an assist from Paige Solie. Izzy Humple-Pash was strong in the goal and shut them out.

Coach Mark Rhodes said, “We continued to show improvement with the things we are working on in practice – coming through in the games – which is great to see.”

The JV girls won the game 2-0 against PCM. They are now 6-0. Their next game is on Tuesday, April 23 at Greene County.
